Antelope Island State Park

Syracuse City is very well known as the access point to the wonderful and rustic Antelope Island State Park, mountain bike or horseback ride the park's backcountry trails for spectacular views of lake and island scenery; spend a star-filled night in one of several primitive campsites; stroll along sandy beaches and take a dip in the lake's salty waters or step back in time with a visit to the historic Fielding Garr Ranch!

Antelope Island is home to free-ranging bison, mule deer, bighorn sheep, pronghorn (antelope), and many other desert animals! Millions of birds congregate along the shores surrounding the island, offering unparalleled opportunities for birding! Year-round Interpretive opportunities round out the Antelope Island experience!

Community Center

Syracuse City offers a variety of fun activities for all ages to enjoy at our fun and modern Community Recreation Center. We offer things like sports tournaments (basketball, soccer, etc.), arts classes, community service, and group fitness classes, including Zumba, yoga, and cardio classes.

Syracuse is a city in Davis County, Utah, United States. We are is situated between the Great Salt Lake and Interstate 15, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Salt Lake City. We are part of the Ogden-Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. We have seen rapid growth and development since the 1990s. The city population was 24,331 at the time of the 2010 census, an increase of 158.9% since the 2000 census.

Syracuse City is located in northern Davis County on the eastern side of the Great Salt Lake. It is bordered to the north by West Point, to the northeast and east by Clearfield, and to the southeast by Layton. A causeway on SR 127 connects Syracuse to Antelope Island State Park in the Great Salt Lake. Syracuse City has a total area of 9.6 square miles (24.8 km2), of which 0.01 square miles (0.015 km2), or 0.06%, are water.

Syracuse Museum

The Syracuse Regional Museum celebrates and preserves the local history of the city of Syracuse and its early citizens. The museum opened on May 10, 2002 after years of hard work by the dedicated members of the Syracuse Historical Committee.

The museum, located near City Hall, tells the story of the early social, economic, and cultural development of Syracuse and the surrounding areas. The museum complex consists of the Main Building, the Barn, the Waite Barbershop, and the historic Wilcox Cabin.

Syracuse City is building a specially designed, nature inspired, all-abilities interactive water feature called the Syracuse "I.S.L.A.N.D" (Interactive Splash Lovers All-abilities Native Destination) located next Chloe's Sunshine Playround, at Centennial Park.
